Nose: A mellow, rounded nose, with a dry smokiness (a Johnnie Walker signature flavour) mixed with raisin sweetness.
Palate: The first sip reveals a velvety mouthfeel, then an explosion of flavour – hazelnuts, honey, rose petals, sherry and oranges. Subsequent sips reward you with more hidden secrets like kumquats, wispy aromatic smoke, sandalwood, tobacco, and dark chocolate.
Finish: A rich and uniquely long and satisfying finish of smoke and pepper, ending with a glorious touch of spice.
Nose: Rich and softly smoky, with background notes of chocolate and fragrant sandalwood.
Palate: Fresh fruit and grass lead into stewed fruit, soft spice, nuts and coffee.
Finish: Long and spicy.
Nose: Rich and inviting, with notes of dark berries, ripe plums, sweet vanilla, and gentle oak spice.
Palate: Smooth and layered, featuring juicy red fruits, caramel sweetness, soft smoke, and hints of warm spices and toasted wood.
Finish: Medium to long, warming and slightly smoky, with lingering notes of dark fruit and subtle oak.
Nose: Honey’d orchard fruit, burnt cinnamon, a burst of pineapple and creamy vanilla.
Palate: Warming oak right from the get-go, joined by juicy raisins and sultanas. A touch of rum spice develops later on, along with chocolate-y caramel.
Finish: Christmas-y spices and a hint of floral sweetness.
Nose: A mix of heady toffee apple and very faint smoke. Thick, syrupy malt, digestive biscuits, oak.
Palate: Soft, buttery toffee and general fruitiness. Medium bodied, but very malty and well-constructed blend.
Finish: Golden syrup, creamy spices and malt on the finish.
