Known for its mellow tones and delicacy of flavour, The Original is where all our whisky-making adventures begin. Like home, we carry it with us, no matter how far we travel.
To give Original a delicious, go-anywhere finesse, we make it in our giraffe-high stills, then we age it 10 years in bourbon casks to absorb all manner of delectable flavours. The result is a smooth whisky which welcomes you with a rush of citrus, then holds your attention with layers of luscious flavour, from orange to honey and creamy vanilla, with bursts of peach.

Nose
Honeyed malt with underlying lemon and apple, plus a touch of nutmeg bringing oaky warmth.
Palate
Lots of vanilla and apricot notes, with more apple coming along too. A hint of flaked almond later on.
Finish
The honeyed orchard fruit theme continues on the finish, with a pinch of peppercorn.

Sipping The Nectar d’Or is like sending your senses on holiday to a French pastry shop, where the air swirls with sweet scents, balanced by a soft drumbeat of spice.
To create it, we take the delicate, fruity spirit of our giraffe-high stills and age it in American oak bourbon casks along with casks that once held Sauternes sweet white wine. The outcome is like a silky dessert-filled daydream of white chocolate swirled with lemon cream, crème caramel, almond croissants… all balanced by a soft drumbeat of spice
Nose: Bright and herbaceous. Allspice comes to the fore, with peppermint and hay notes rounded off by stone fruit and soft toffee.
Palate: Mouth-coating and chewy. Herbal notes preside, with clove, nutmeg, bitter-sweet plums and a hint of creamy vanilla.
Finish: Rich and oaky, with pepper and tart cherries.
